Finally saw ROTF. I’ve been avoiding spoilers like the plague so I knew practically nothing before I saw it…afterwards I read other reviews and I generally agree with what others has said before me.

Where are the Autobots!!!!????

The movie is called Transformers. Shouldn’t the focus be on the robots? :

I mean, I kept looking for Ratchet and was beginning to fear they’d dumped him or something before he finally made an aperance. If you blinked you missed him…and why is he incapable of fixing Bumblebees vocalizer by the way? Because it’s “fun” and “cute” to have Bee talking through his radio?

The CG effects are sooo good, but that counts for nothing when you never get a close-up or a few stills so you can get a good look at the characters. I was annoyed throughout almost the entire movie because I had no idea who the blue car was. (I’d never heard about Jolt, so I admit hearing his name helped little- but it would have been nice if they introduced the characters properly…. )

I’m not going to get started on the Twins…I’m afraid I wont be able to stop.

And oh yea- lets not forget the cheap jokes;
The taking off of pants, dog-humping, robo-humping and Decepticon balls…ha-ha we are all amused.

Megatron cringing and taking orders from some one…what kind of sick world is this?? Megatron answers to NO-ONE !


I am easily amused, as long as there are giant robots, fight scenes and explosions I’m happy. But I was very disappointed by the lack of Autobot interaction… (I’m getting the feeling that deep down; Bay hates robots. that’s why he gives them so little screen time)


The beginning looked soooo promising. I was bouncing in my seat when I saw Sideswipe.
Ravage has always been one of my favourites.

I looooved Jetfire. He saved the day for me. (Jetfire fan club anyone? ) He kind of reminded me of an old pirate for some reason. (Probably the “beard“ )

And Soundwave was cool….he’s out there….watching ooooooohhhhh


To sum it up; I can’t wait to by the DVD so I can study my favourite parts. (And skip the bad ones)
